We are seeking an enthusiastic Project Quantity Surveyor to join our B+K Property Services, based at Robert W Kirkland House, Alfreton Road, DE21 4AG to join work alongside our Project Managers and Quantity Surveyors.

This is a full time permanent role.

Duties of the Role:

• Financial and commercial control of projects.
• Supporting other members of the team to achieve successful project delivery.
• Being a full team member to achieve successful project delivery.
• Aspiring to the very highest standards of quality, service and business performance.
• Tackling difficult issues early by promoting early resolution to problems.
• Eliminating risk.
• Ensuring accurate, real time reporting.
• Achieving project targets whilst maintaining client and supply chain relationships.
• Leading Sub-Contractor Procurement, Sub-Contract orders and general Contract Administration.
• Collating and keeping up to date tracking documents such as the subcontract procurement schedule, collateral warranty tracker and the like.
• Ensuring the Regional and Company procedures are fulfilled in relation to the processing of Sub Contractor Payments and applicable notices alike.
• Understanding, applying and administering the Main Contract, the Amendments and Contract Documents.
• Client facing – Agreeing valuations, variations, and general Contract Administration
• Any other duties associated with this position which are related to the objectives of the Company or Team or contribute to individual development.

Key Skills & Experience Required:

• Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying
• Accuracy of reporting, administration and compliance with company standards
• Problem solving and decision-making skills
• Pro-active with ability to work under pressure
• Good organisation and interpersonal skills
• Performance against project budgets
• Promotes teamwork
• Good organisational and time keeping skills
• Good listening and people skills
• Accuracy of forecasting
• Construction site experience
